What Inspires Us
More than two decades of building has taught us a lot. It has also taught us how much there still is to learn. Materials evolve. Building science develops. Old ideas are rediscovered. New technologies emerge. Not everything new is better, and not everything old should be left behind. Curiosity is how we find the difference.
Healthy Homes
We spend much of our lives inside buildings. That makes us curious about how a home affects the people who live within it — indoor air quality, ventilation, moisture, temperature, daylight, acoustics and the materials we surround ourselves with. A beautiful home should also feel good to live in.

Every material has a story: where it came from, how it was made, and how it will feel and change over time. We're drawn to materials with integrity, and we're just as open to new materials and technologies when they offer a genuinely better way to build. The question isn't whether something is old or new. It's whether it belongs.
Tradition With New Ways
Traditional craft carries generations of knowledge about materials, climate and longevity, while modern building science keeps improving how we understand comfort, health and performance. The most interesting work happens where the two meet. We hold onto what has endured, learn from what's new, and use both to build better.
