CRAFT
The way we build.
Care is often found in the things nobody will ever see. A well-built home is the result of thousands of decisions. Some are visible. Most aren't. We care deeply about both creating beautiful architecture and everything behind it that allows a home to perform, endure and age well.
BEAUTIFULLY RESOLVED
Performance alone doesn't make a great home. We care about proportion, alignment, material, texture and the way one element meets another. About details that feel effortless because the work behind them wasn't. Good construction should support the architecture, not compete with it. Built properly. Built beautifully.
BEHIND THE SURFACE
A home isn't a collection of individual products or trades. Everything is connected. Structure, waterproofing, membranes, glazing, insulation, ventilation and services all influence how a building performs.
We use high-performance building-envelope systems, including Pro Clima membranes and tapes, and consider airtightness, insulation continuity, thermal bridging, moisture and condensation risk as part of the whole. Much of this work eventually disappears. That doesn't make it any less important.
CARE IN PRACTICE
Critical stages become hold points before work continues. Important concealed construction is inspected, photographed, filmed and measured before it's covered. Projects are documented through Procore, creating accountability and a permanent record of the work behind the finished building.
Care also means protecting completed work, considering the next trade and questioning something when it doesn't look right. We don't want to assume it was done properly. We want to know.
BUILT FOR TIME
We think beyond practical completion. We consider how materials will weather, how details will respond to exposure and how a home will perform through years of real occupation.
Our structured post-completion process extends to 36 months after practical completion, including annual inspections of our completed homes. Returning to our work teaches us how buildings actually settle, weather and perform. Those lessons make the next home better.
